Migros (Swiss Supermarket chain), was looking for a solution to optimise their fuel cost.

AIC Founder Dipl. Eng. Rolf Moosmann, created the first fuel consumption flow meter system for them.

The first meter was mounted on a Scania L76.

At start all meters were exclusively made for Scania Trucks SA.

AIC SYSTEMS AG was founded in Grenchen – Solothurn County.
